Lots to Love at Topshop Boutique and a New Look
So I was in Topshop yesterday having hair extensions put in at Hershesons blow-dry bar (as you do, see the results from my instagram pic below!) when I decided to swing by their Boutique range. Topshop is on fire all the time but especially Topshop Boutique. It’s more designer and so more expensive because they don’t make as many pieces of each item so a bit more exclusive. If you’re over 40 like me then paying a bit more always pays off and means I can happily continue to shop in Topshop not looking like mutton!! I consistently find at least five things I want to buy every time I find myself in the Oxford Circus store.
Enough about my random spur-of-the-moment-decision hair extensions, here are my favourite Topshop Boutique pieces this week:
THIS silver ruffle dress! I love this and it’s only £120, pretty good for a lovely party dress. Ruffles are massively on trend this year, as are metallics and it’s pretty sexy – this is good! Wear a black tux jacket over the top for a smart event.
Pink is a massive colour this season and will continue to be into next year. This rose pink colour pop coat will look great over the top of the silver ruffle dress above. They styled it over a silver top and jeans in the Oxford street store – see my instagram snap below. Finish with black heels. Ace.
Also love this satin wrap dress in this deep autumnal colour. Would wear this one with trainers.
If you’re a jean lover like most of us, this flared sleeve top would be great to jazz up your jeans.
Finally, if you’re a trouser lover, these gold lame tie waist trousers would be great paired with black heels for evening or converse for day.
Gorgeous! My metallic obsession continues…
