How to thrive in a Corporate job in 2024 - Clothes are a tool to success

In conversation with coach Annelise Pesa

A bit of a workwear special today - especially if you work in Corporate but these tips apply to any workplace.

As I've mentioned many times on this podcast, what you wear matters.

Clothes can be used as a tool for success and importantly as armour to help you look polished and professional and feel it inside.

But that's not enough by itself. Of course you need to be good at your job as well as looking the part and this is the topic of discussion in today's podcast.

If you work in a professional environment or a corporate workplace, how do you look and feel your most confident self?

I invited Annelise Peso, a leadership coach onto the podcast to discuss this and lots more. Annelise is an ex-corporate lawyer who used to be Head of Legal at Morgan Stanley. She is now a leadership coach helping executives in demanding jobs to show up as the best version of themselves at work whilst looking after their own well being. Annelise is also an Italian passionate love of fashion! She shares how important her style is to her and why you shouldn't be afraid of dressing up.

We cover:

- The power of self care

- Boundaries at work

- How to look and feel confident in a demanding workplace

- How to deal with stress at work

- Fashion and its place in the workplace today.
