3 Co-Ord Outfits To Update Your Work Wardrobe
Yesterday I was in White Feather Boutique in Herne Hill trying on some fabulous co-ord outfits. You can see what I tried on here on my Instagram Stories. Co-ords, incase you’ve been hiding are a matching two-piece - the modern suit! Yes that’s right, matchy matchy just got cool. Co-ord’s are THE way to look super stylish in Spring 2019 in the office, they are twice as clever because you can also wear them as separates thus making your hard earned pennies go further. This is an instant outfit that requires no styling so gives you more time in bed in the morning - hit the snooze button and read on for three of the best in the shops now:
White Feather stocks lots of Scandinavian brands that give you unique options you don’t find on the high street. This Co-Ord is by Gestuz, it’s silk and felt really comfortable on. It looks polished and professional so would be perfect for the office. Also over on my instagram stories, I tried on a trouser and shirt co-ord in the sale by Baum Und Pferdgarten (my absolute favourite brand). Again, it felt so comfy and looked very funky!
2. The high street is awash with co-ords too at the moment. Once of the coolest is high waisted trousers and a crop top but alas, my crop top days are long over and anyway that would be highly inappropriate for the office but thought I’d mention anyway! I’m thorough if nothing else. I spotted this excellent co-ord in Reiss who have a new designer on board and are killing it at the moment. Wearing this would get you noticed at work for the right reasons!
Reiss checked blouse to wear with matching skirt below or as a separate piece.
Paired with the matching skirt and black heels this would be a really striking look.
3. This last look by Topshop Boutique is still classed as a ‘co-ord’ but nicely illustrates the other connected trend I wanted to mention! Not only are co-ord’s hot stuff for spring but wearing head-to-toe matching colours also works and is huge for Spring. Wearing the same colour top and bottom is elongating and slimming so is really flattering as well as on-trend.
Topshop Boutique matching pink shirt and trousers - great with nude or black heels or equally white trainers.
Hope this has given you some workwear inspiration for the coming months as it finally warms up a bit. Don’t forget to follow me on instagram for outfit ideas and inspiration from the shops.
