Leopard print, satin and culotte outfits for the weekend
The pain of the football is still raw but the sun is shining and it's Friday!!! Time for some weekend outfit inspiration and apparently it's set to be yet another hot one.
Outfit #1 - Animal print skirt with simple tee shirt and trainers or flat sandals. The focal point of this outfit is the skirt but I think the turquoise Stella & Dot earrings shown at the end of the blog would set it off and make it more summery.
Outfit #2 - A slip dress worn with a blazer and trainers. If you are not a trainer kind of gal then again flat sandals would work with this outfit. Yes I know it's currently boiling hot but in the evenings and mornings it can be a bit chilly and I really like the mix of tailoring with the boudoir-esq risque style of the slip dress. Sexy but not slutty!
Outfit # 3 - Culottes and an off shoulder top. This is my new favourite combo! Off shoulder tops are great for getting your tan on in the summer months and they work brilliantly with 'on-trend' wide legged culottes. There are tons of styles out there and ways to put this outfit together to suit you. If you are bigger on the bottom half go for a solid dark colour like above and pattern on your top half. If you are proportionately more or less the same on the top and bottom then you can choose from some of the gorgeous printed culottes all over the shops. Broderie anglais off shoulder top | ASOS
Accessories - you can't move or read a blog without a wicker bag being mentioned at the moment. I'm suggesting one here because you don't want to be lugging around a leather bag with your light summery outfit - these are really good for finishing off outfits and totally neutral. Also, these are the turquoise Stella and Dot beauties I mentioned above - love these.
